The SOUL Legacy
SOUL NEWSPAPER was published 1966 - 1982 and distributed internationally by Ken and Regina Jones. Ken was a news reporter on the ground during the Watts Rebellion in 1965. Seeing a need to produce content for people that celebrated Black culture, he along side his wife Regina created and published SOUL.
As the eldest grandchild of the publishers it is an honor to be able to curate this vibrant piece of culture to fans new and old alike. Our mission is to continue the rich legacy of the publication and contribute to the preservation of Black music history. On behalf of my family I thank you for keeping SOUL alive!
